| Note | The Waterloo County branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society provides a transcription of Section 3, Mountview Cemetery in Galt. This transcription was done in 1985. Was the inscription on the gravestone worn or faded by this time, or was there a typographical error? The gravestone transcription dates Lillie's death to 7 May, 1891, but there exists a death registration for her and this clearly dates her death to 8 May, 1894. There may be a problem with the exact day of Lillie's death, but not her year. The other registrations on the page are all from 1894. Death reg. 017734-94 Galt, Waterloo Co. Lillie M. Little died 8 May, 1894, age 31. Married woman. Methodist. Born Canada. Cause of death pneumonia and heart failure two weeks. Physician Dr. McAlister. Informant John Little, Galt.
