| Note | The rather faded stone for John that appears in Kinzie Biehn Cemetery - he is buried with his parents - has been transcribed to indicate that he died in 1851. This is not accurate. He was living, age 19, as of the 1851 census in Waterloo Township. This was begun on 12 January, 1852, so he must have died rather later. A careful examination of the photo of his gravestone would indicate that he died 30 November, 1854. The transcription, as provided by the Waterloo Wellington OGS, shows his age to be 22 years, 5 months, and 8 days. This calculates his date of birth to June 22, 1832. This is probably approximate. |
