It seems safe to say that the above marriage was that of Leonard Preiss and Barbara Schutte. Looking over other marriages, it does seem that George MacLennan was a Presbyterian cleric. He was probably handy for the marriage. After that, if the minister wrote Leonard's name as Price, it wouldn't be the only time such is found. Barbara's last name being rendered a Scott could well be a handwriting issue. |
