Mary's first name is written in a manner that is initially difficult to interpret, but, comparing the registration for she and Stephen in the 1871 census in Burford, it's reasonable to say that Mary Henderson is the married name for Mary Dawdy. Also, their apparent first born is Jeremiah, evidently named after Mary's father. |
