A death registration for Barbara has not been found. Her gravestone provides her dates of birth (12 January, 1816) and death (25 November, 1895). The gravestone also provides her age at date of death: 79 yrs., 10 mos., 13 dys. This calculates to her date of birth as shown. The 1851 census taken at South Cayuga Township in Haldimand County places Barbara's birth in Clinton Township (Lincoln County). Barbara and Christopher have with them five children, all born in South Cayuga Township. |
