| Note | A birth registration for Godfrey has not been found. His marriage registration tells that he was born in Hay (Township) and, considering that his parents and older siblings are in Hay as of the 1871 census and that they are still in Hay with young Godfrey (his father's name was Godfrey), it's reasonable that he was born in Hay Township. |
