Witness Frederick Johnson was Ida's first cousin. He was the son of Hiram Johnson who was brother to Ida's father Clark Johnson. Frederick was evidently a resident of Bosanquet Township. The 1891 shows him as resident in the township; the 1901 census shows him as resident in Arkona, which was a village in the township. The entry 'widder', seemed curious, for the ascription intended wasn't immediately sure. It turns out that back in the 1860s, there was a post office in Bosanquet named Widder Station. However, from 1852 to 1913, there was a post office in Bosanquet called Widder. It's a guess, but at the time Frederick Johnson was a witness, Widder and not Arkona was his postal address. He may not have lived precisely in the village.
