E. Clopp. Informant Fred Filsinger, Mildmay. Sarah's maiden name as it appears on her gravestone is Huffelman. This is per a transcription. Her father's name as it appears on her death registration is Musselman and this seems the more likely correct. Ezra Eby's Vol. 2 A Biographical History of Waterloo Township, 1896, pages 126 and 135 tell of Sarah's parents and of Sarah and her marriage. The one problem is that Sarah's husband is shown as Jacob Filsinger, rather than with the names that we have for him. We are on reasonably safe ground, for the family gravestone identifies him as Frederick Filsinger and their dates of births agree with such as we may glean from the cemetery transcription. |
