Note | According to the 1901 census, Maud is said to be a dressmaker. A birth registration for her has not been found. She appears in the 1881 census in Dunwich as Sarah and in the 1901 census as Maud. Her marriage registration shows her as Sarah M. and her death registration as Maud. Maud and John are in Brantford at the time of the 1911 census without evidence of children. There is a report of a son born to them in 1912, but this has yet to be confirmed.
