| Note | Thus far, the only record for Charles is the 1861 census taken at Dundas Town, Ontario. He isn't with his mother when she appears in the Detroit City Directory in 1877. Cemetery transcriptions for Dundas have been checked, but no record of a burial for Charles has been found. It may be that Charles was in foster care with the Parsons and that Parsons wasn't his birth name. |
