NoteA marriage registration for Wellington Willson and Araminta Henrietta Palmer has yet to be found, though one will surely exist. According to the 1851 and 1861 censuses, the Palmers were Church of England; in later census years they were of the Congregationalist church.

Henrietta's place of birth as shown on her death registration is Paris, and this is entirely possible. The family appears in Paris as of the 1861 census and father Richard Palmer is a livery keeper. This census shows a child Milly, age 2, and this is probably Henrietta with Milly being used as a diminutive for Araminta. Certainly, by the time of the 1871 census, we find child Henrietta, age 11, in the household. Her father is evidently dead, for mother Charlotte is shown as a widow. This census places the family in Brantford Township.

Death reg. 008062-15 Brantford Township, Brant Co.
