Born and residing Holmesville. Parents John and Deborah Holmes. Witnesses John R. Holmes and Deborah Holmes, both of Holmesville. On Nov. 1st, 1874, at Goderich Township, by Charles E. Gifford. The date of marriage almost looks to be November 11th, but closer examination seems to indicates that it was the 1st. The registration was not returned by the township clerk to county level until the 1st of July 1875. The Archives of Ontario has this on their 1875 index. |
