| Note | The only direct mention we have for Alexander Ritchie is his enumeration in the 1861 census in Grimsby Township and the inscription on his gravestone in Hamilton Cemetery. This latter tells us that he was born in 1820 and died in 1862. Beyond this, at least three of his children note his name as their father on their marriage registrations. This list of children that we have for Alexander and Jessie is taken from the 1861 census at Grimsby Township in Lincoln County. |
