William Duncan died Feb 20th, 1912, at Village of Westport. Retired farmer. Born April 10th, 1837. Parents Alexander Duncan and Margaret Cameron, both born Scotland. Physician A. B. Singleton. Informant Joseph L. McKnight of Westport.
(Filed 3 April, 1912.)

The informant, Joseph L. McKnight, was not William's son-in-law at the time of William's death, but by the time Joseph filed the death registration, he was. Joseph married Margaret in March of 1912. He was said at the time to have his residence in Milk River, Alberta. We do not know when William and Margaret went to Alberta, but it wasn't likely long therafter. Margaret's mother, Christina/Christiana, died their in 1916. It's evident that Hannah and her husband also went to Alberta.
