Abigail Mary Revell born 10th March 1880. Parents Richard M. Revell, dentist, and Margaret A. Little. Physician Dr. Beard. Informant R. M. Revell, dentist, Woodstock.

Sometimes, a town or township registrar would have the informant sign the registration. This appears to be what happened with Abigail's birth registration in that the signature is that of her father. Some 35 years later, one of the witnesses at her marriage was an R. M. Revell and, looking at the signature on the marriage page, it is close enough to that of the signature on the birth registration to say that they were one and the same person.

Abigail's parents, Richard Revell and Margaret Little, were married in Kent County, Canada West, in 1864. Richard's residence at the time is shown as Woodstock.
