George is said to have died in Mentone, California, on May 12, 1904, and Mary is said to have in Winnipeg on September 11, 1858. We have no certainty that either are buried in New Hope Cemetery. Rather, it may be that their names are commemorated on the family gravestone. A death registration has been found. This appears on page 31 of the Register for Deaths, San Bernardino County, California. This shows that George died on 13 May, 1904, at Mentone (in San Bernardino County).
