Burial Dec. 6, 1927, at Hespeler. (Actually at town of Waterloo.) The Globe, Toronto, edition of December 6, 1927, page 14, carries a death notice for Sophie Josephine Hespeler. This provides some additional information not found in the above death notice. It tells that she was born in Carnalea, Lisburn, Ireland. Her father was John Barton Taylor, late of Springwood, London, Ontario, and that her late husband was Jacob Hespeler. She died on December 4, 1927, in Toronto, but that the funeral service was in Waterloo at St. Saviour's Church at 2pm, December 6. Interment at Waterloo. Other than her husband and father, family names are not mentioned. |
