This is per Craig Burtch, Early Ontario Newspaper Transcription Series, The Waterloo County Papers, Vol. 40, Global Heritage Press, 2012. The above agrees with a birth notice as placed in the Dumfries Reformer of Galt in the 12 June, 1861, edition. This also shows Baden as the place of birth.
