NoteMedora is buried with William in Greenwood Cemetery, Brantford. Her gravestone shows her death year as 1891. A death registration that matches has not been found, but a Dora M. Hoagg died in London on February 2, 1892. She is age 31 which is approximately correct for Medora's age and she is shown as a Presbyterian. She died of consumption (tuberculosis) and was probably in a tuberculosis hospital. Her physician was a Dr. Moore and the informant was an undertaker. There is no other information provided. If the stone was not erected until the death of William, then it is possible that the year of Medora's death was not correctly remembered when the gravestone was ordered. This was not an entirely uncommon occurrence.
