Date of burial 10 Dec. 1924. Egerton's death registration as well as his gravestone in Greenwood spells his name as 'Edgerton'. Ancestry presents a page from the Ottawa Journal apparently dated December 8th, 1924. The '8th' isn't entirely clear, but is logically correct. What appears to be page 19 of this edition has Egerton's death notice. It is brief enough, stating that he died in a local hospital on the 7th and the funeral would be from his home on Park Avenue at 830pm on the 8th. The street number is not legible. The notice goes on to state that interment will be in Brantford. |
