Burial June 26, 1943, at St. Catharines. According to a gravestone in St. Andrew's Presbyterian/United Church cemetery in Port Dalhousie, Alex is buried with siblings Isabell, Charles, and Jean. Jean was the last to die, by many years, for she died in 1979. The inscription on the stone indicates that Alex died in 1945, but the death registration is clear enough that he died in 1943. The stone was likely erected some years after Alex's passing. |
