Note | See notes for Ralph's burial information. Isabella (Kinnaird) Morton is also buried in West Flamborough Presbyterian Cemetery. The transcription for her gravestone reads as follows. In memory of / Isabella / wife of Ralph Morton / who died Feb. 23, 1868 / aged 30 years 6 mo. Isabella was a Presbyterian. Certainly she and Ralph were married by a Presbyterian minister. Probably the main reason that Isabella is buried in the West Flamborough Presbyterian Cemetery is that her parents, Alexander and Jane Kinnaird, are buried there. According to the inscription on her parents' gravestone, Isabella's mother's maiden name was Vair. |
