| Note | He Microfilm GS2987 shows First Church baptisms and Stephen's baptism is recorded there on January 5, 1862. He is shown as the son of Adam Moffatt of Beverly. Stephen Moffatt's gravestone in Mountview Cemetery shows his years of birth and death as 1862 - 1940. While this isn't impossible, considering that he was baptised at First Church on January 5, 1862, it does seem more likely that he was born in 1861. |
