| Note | A birth registration for Cassie has not been found. As of the 1921 census, Robert and Cassie are in Beverly Township of Wentworth County with three daughters. The 1921 census was begun on June 1. Cassie was enumerated in this census, but died on June 28. Death reg. 035682-21 Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co. Cassie Miranda Mulholland died 28th June, 1921, at concession 4, lot 6, Beverly Township. Age 30 yrs., 9 mos., 22 dys. Born Canada Sept. 5th, 1890. Housewife. Residence at place of death 9 months. Cause of death pulmonary tuberculosis. Cassie's age at time of marriage is given as 18 on the marriage registration. This would place her year of birth to approximately 1897. The transcription of St. George Cemetery by the Brant County branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society shows her birth year as 1891. Another transcription, this one done for Interment.net, also shows her birth year as shown on her gravestone as 1891. Cassie is buried in the Mulholland family plot. She is shown as the wife of Robert Gordon, but he is not buried in this plot. |
