Munroe of Kintore, James Brown of West Zorra to Bella C., eldest daughter of Peter Ross, of East Nissouri. A marriage registration has not been found. |

Note | Courtesy of Oxford County Libraries, the following obituary was received. This is from the March 17, 1965 edition of the Ingersoll Tribune. This relates the death of Mrs. James Brown, age 94, who died at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll on March 14th, 1965. She was the former Isabella Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Ross of East Nissouri. Prior to moving to Ingersoll in 1924, the obituary states that she and Mr. Brown operated the Red Star Cheese Factory. At the time of her death, one son Lloyd survived. The story relates that she would be temporarily entombed in the Ingersoll Mausoleum and later buried in the family plot in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. |
