| Note | A birth registration for Albert has not been found. His date of birth appears in the 1901 census as 22 June, 1898. Considering that his age is shown as 12, this much will be an enumerator's error. Albert is shown as age 2 in the 1891 census, which would place his year of birth to 1889. Finally, we take Albert's year of birth from a transcription of his gravestone which shows his years of birth and death as 1889 - 1915. The Bruce and Grey Counties Ontario Genealogical Society web site has a transcription (or perhaps partial transcription) of the Evangelical United Brethren Cemetery in Normanby Township that was digitized in 2010. This is the source of our information. Albert is buried next to his parents. A death registration for Albert has not been found. |
