The inscription for John and Janet is by way of a commemorative inscription, for they are not buried in Kilean Cemetery. Their portion of the inscription reads: John Thomson 1808-1892, Janet McCormick his wife 1819-1897, both died and are buried at Bathgate, N. Dakota.
