German Robert gave his age as perhaps five years younger than reality on his marriage registration. An age of 43 was closer to it. This is per census information as well as his gravestone inscription in section 4, Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge/Galt. |

That Robert Fergusson was the son of John Fergusson and Mary McVey, we cannot doubt, for he appears as such on his marriage registration and he is buried in his parents' family plot at Mountview. |
