| Note | Some records spell the family name as Wilcox. Most, however, including records with Manitoba's vital statistics, spell the name as Wilcocks. After Joanna's death, Francis married Emily Thrift in Winnipeg on 6 May 1916, registration nbr. 1916-027136. The 1921 census shows Emily with Francis in Birtle. With them is a daughter Phyllis May, age 1. |
