| Note | Augusta Louise appears as such in the 1891 census at Watford. There, she is shown as age 11, which would date her birth to about 1880. The 1881 census in the Manitoba Western Extension shows her as Any. Louise, or Aug. Louise, no doubt the latter, and her age is given as 1. Both the 1881 and 1891 censuses show Augusta Louise as being born in Ontario, which may be, but no birth registration has been found for her. And since her two younger sisters are shown as being born in Ontario when the Manitoba Vital Statistics show them as being born in Manitoba, we are left in doubt. Augusta Louise has yet to be found in the 1901 census. |
