| Note | Birth reg. 035345-79 Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co. 15 October 1879 Josephine Warner, d/o James Harvey Warner, farmer, and Isabella Misener. The informant was George Clark, merchant, Troy, Beverly. George Clark ran the general store at Troy and was the postmaster. It appears that registrations of the day could be filed with the postmaster who then forwarded the information to the township clerk. Death reg. 020568-81 Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co. April 9, 1881, Josephine Warner, age 1 year and 5 months, d/o Harvey Warner. Born Beverly.Scarlet fever. One week. Informant Rev. James Webb, Beverly. A place of burial for Josephine has not been found. It's reasonable to say that she was buried in Troy cemetery, but no record thereof is found in either the Hamilton Branch OGS transcription or Harley Misener's transcription. |
