This shows Thomas Keachie as a communicant on July 8th, 1824, which is at the time of organization. Margaret Keachie is also shown as a communicant by profession of faith. This was apparently conducted by a Rev. Thomas Beveridge and the handwriting on the two pages is probably his. The branch of Presbyterianism at First Church at this early date was the Associate Reformed Church. |
