Attending physician Dr. Wardlaw. Bessie's brother, Dan Buchanan, was a Galt doctor, but Dr. Wardlaw attends on more than one occasion. Doctors Buchanan and Wardlaw were reputed to be great friends. The Colvin family bible birth page reads: Andrew Gordon born at Galt Ontario on Monday 1st June 1896. Baptized 29th December by Rev. Jno. Buchanan, M.D. (John Buchanan was Gord's uncle.) Gordon and Kathleen are buried in Hagey Mennonite Cemetery. The cemetery is understood to non parochial. Certainly, Gordon and Kathleen weren't Mennonite. |
