Note | Our information for Betha Schacht Lawrason is scanty. In the 1880 census, she is probably the Bertha Schacht, age 15, born Germany, who is a servant in the household of Charlie Babcock of Wyandotte, Wayne County, Michigan. In the 1910 census at Detroit, she is shown as Bertha Lawrason in the household of George Barrie. She is 45 and a practical nurse and shown as George's sister-in-law. George's wife Ida was born in Germany and so they are likely sisters. Bertha is shown as single. In the 1930 census at Detroit, she is shown as 65, a widow, and her sister Dora Schacht is with her.
