| Note | The Bruce & Grey branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society has transcribed Greenock Methodist Cemetery in Greenock Township, Bruce County. The date of the original transcription is not provided, but given that Sam Cunningham's gravestone was at the time readable, and since more recent photographs appearing on online do have readability problems, the transcription was almost certainly done no later than the 1990s - probably earlier. The inscription on Sam's stone reads: Samuel Cunningham Feb 12, 1864 24 ys 6mos 5 dys Erected by wife Charlotte Samuel's date of birth, 7 August, 1839, is calculated from his age at time of death.
