H. McCartny. The date the clergyman handed this registration in to David Baptie, the township clerk, is not shown. Baptie dates the page to December 31st, 1882, but then apparently sends it to the county level on January 1, 1883. Looking at this and contiguous pages, it seems likely that though this is an 1882 marriage, the registration year is probably 1883. This would only be meaningful if a search for the document was being done at the Archives of Ontario. |
