On 12 July, 1893, at Lynden by Rev. B. L. Cohoe. In the space for remarks below, registrar Wallace McDonald has written to the effect that Minetta was sometimes known as Minetta Mount, but also as Minetta Duncan. McDonald goes on to say that 'Duncan' was the reported father (though no birth registration has been found as being 'reported'.) Minetta's maiden name is reported as Duncan on the birth registrations of her children Wilfred and Vera Nixon. The birthdates for Alexander and Minetta and the names and dates for the children are from the 1901 census taken at East Flamborough. |
