Groom's father born Bullock's Corners Bride's father born 'Domville', Ontario The marriage license was issued at Stamford. This was, at the time, the township wherein the City of Niagara Falls, Ontario, was located. Also, both the license and the marriage registration show George as George K. Bullock rather that George Stanley Bullock. |

Young George's birth registration shows him clearly enough as George Stanley Bullock, but his marriage registration shows him as George K. Bullock. George's date of birth agrees with his date as shown in the 1901 census. He is simply shown as George Bullock in the 1901 census and, mistakenly, as George Wrong in the 1911 census. George is with his mother and his step father in 1921 in Niagara Falls and is shown as George Bullock. He appears as George Bullock in voters' lists in later years without benefit of an initial. Young George was born in April of 1900 and his father died some four months later in August. It appears that the family dropped the middle name Stanley and gave him the middle initial K., whatever this may stand for. Certainly, in some border crossings in later years, wherein he is clearly identified, for example by using the name of his step-father, John Wrong, as a reference, he at times uses the initial K. In his border crossing information, George gives his place of birth as Strabane. This is in Flamborough West township. His sister Muriel gave Strabane as her place of birth on her marriage registration. |
