Interestingly, this same issue of August 18 carries a story of the death of Netta's father Charles. |

The Canadian 1921 census shows Nettie and Alex W. Crawford with Emily Nixon on Block F in St. George, South Dumfries. Alex is shown as a lecturer - University. |
