(See Delores MacIntyre, Some Records of the Lawrason Family, p.27, Rev.2000.) This was written by Lawrance Lawrason Jr., Margaret's father, and we must ascribe to it some veracity. Nothing resembling it, however, appears in Vol. 27 of County Marriage Registers of Ontario, Canada, 1858-1869, Middlesex County, index, by Elizabeth Hancocks, Global Heritage Press Inc, nor does it appear in the era's transcriptions provided by Ancestry. Lawrence writes as follows: Margaret Ann Phoebe Lawrason, born in London, Upper Canada, on the 10th day of July, 1840; and was married to Edmund Baynes Reed at London, Ontario, on the 26th day of October, 1864. |

Her spouse's name is shown as E. Baynes-Reed. It may be noted that family record often drop the first half of the surname, 'Baynes' and the record is then often found under Reed. |
