| Note | The 1861 census was begun on the 14th August, 1861, and it shows Richard and Maria (or Mary) in Preston without children. This is evidently after the death of their first son, Frederick William Lawrason, who, according to the Old Preston Cemetery Register of Interments died on 30 April, 1861 at age 2-1/2 weeks. He is described as the son of Richard Lawrason. This is further elaborated on in the burial card list of Section F., Preston Cemetery. Burial card 238 lists Frederick W. Lawrason as buried in BL. E, Lot 15. Apparently a stone has not survived. |
