Lloyd died on August 30, 1918, in France, and is buried in grave B32, Upton Wood Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. His name is inscribed in the pages of the memorial book that sits in the parliament buildings in Ottawa. His mother is shown on his death record as Mrs. Jane Broder of Toronto.
