The 1851 census for Goderich Township is missing. Death reg. 005629-76 Goderich, Huron Co. Nathaniel Pettit Lawrason, age 76, gentleman, born Canada, died March 21, 1876. Episcopalian. No physician. Informant William Curtis Lawrason, Town of Goderich. William Curtis Lawrason was the son of Nathaniel's brother Joseph. To this point we have no evidence of a marriage for Nathaniel or for children. A record of Nathaniel's burial has not been found. See notes for brother Joseph, who was also an Anglican. A sure place of burial for either is not known, but such notes as apply for Joseph may well also apply to Nathaniel. |
