Note | It is evident from U.S. census years that Silas D. Lawrason was resident in Beloit, Wisconsin, as late as the 1930 census. Page 12 of the Rockford Register-Republic dated April 1, 1933, informs us that Silas died on Friday morning (March 31st), that the funeral service would be 2:30 Saturday afternoon, and that then the body would be taken to St. George, Ontario, for burial. According to the transcription of St. George Cemetery, done by the Brant County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, Silas and Isabella are buried together. A death record for Isabella has yet to be found. |
