Fitch, 4201 Lakeview Ave. Died July 31, 1937 Burial Aug. 3, 1937, Dresden Cemetery, Ontario The above death registration was filed by daughter Helen, who appears with Titus and Mary in the 1920 and 1930 censuses in Detroit. It's reasonable to say that she is light by about ten years so far as his age is concerned. Titus is shown as age 4 upon the 1851 census taken at South Dumfries in Brant County. Since this was actually taken in January of 1852 and since the question was 'what is your age as of your next birthday', then it's reasonable to say that Titus was born in 1848. It appears that Titus was married twice, for familysearch has a database (transcription only) that shows he married Helen May Cook on October 19, 1897. |
