| Note | Miller Lawrason Willson seems to have gone by his middle name of Lawrason. He is shown on his gravestone in Drumbo Cemetery as M. Lawrason Wilson. The birth registration of son Joseph shows him, exceptionally, as Millar L. Willson and here we find the maiden name of his wife, Margaret Stockford. No marriage registration for Lawrason and Margaret has been found. The 1871 census at Blenheim Twp. shows Lawrason Wilson, a farmer, age 29. With him is wife Margaret age 27. The children's names are faded or poorly written, but appear to be Jeanie age 6 and Charles W. age 4. There is also a younger son age 1 year, but the handwriting is illegible and, for the moment, we do not know the name of this child. It's difficult to know just where Ransford fits in early census information. He may be the youngest son in the 1871 census. He is only found and identified by way of his death registration which is dated 1910. Death reg. 010683-78 Blandford Twp., Oxford Co. Laurison Wilson died July 7th, 1878. Age 36, farmer, born Dumfries. Menonite. The informant was also his physician, Dr. W. D. Clement of Innerkip. |
