| Note | Harry's birth was registered in Beverly Township, but on his death registration, less than a year later, it states that he was born in Galt. Considering that the family was in Galt at the time of the 1881 census, this is probably correct. Birth reg. 038084-82 Beverly Township, Wentworth Co. Harry Cumming Teeple born July 29, 1882. Parents Schuyler S. Teeple and Mary Cumming. Informant John Clark, merchant, Beverly. (John Clark ran the general store and post office at Troy.) On one or two points, township clerk Wallace McDonald's handwriting takes some creative reading. Death reg. 018173-83 Beverly Township, Wentworth Co. Harry Cumming Teeple, 5-1/2 months, died January 15, 1883. Son of S.S. & M. Teeple. Born Galt. Informant Rev. James Webb of Beverly. (James Webb was the Episcopal Methodist minister at Troy.) A place of burial for Harry has not been found. |
