Note | The family story is that Frederick Reed died of tuberculosis. Emma took him to an outdoor camp for TB sufferers in the Muskoka area. My understanding, based on stories from family members, was that he died in Muskoka. Emma had to wire to her parents for money to get herself and her husband's body home for burial. This story is at odds with his death registration which places his death in London. Death reg. 021825-16 London, Middlesex County Frederick A. Reed, age 25 years, 8 months, died April 14, 1916.
