| Note | Note: Thomas's parents were Washburn Jebb, 1830-1909 and Emily Hearst1826-1909. Thomas had a son Thomas W. Jebb, born January 21, 1880, by his first marriage. Thomas Jr. was with Thomas and Clara at the time of the 1901 census, and of course is Clara's stepson. Thomas Sr. and Ida Hilton apparrently met in New York. She died and may be buried in New York. The marriage notice of the day had Thomas as 25 to Clara's age of 22. This is wrong. Thomas was 25 in the 1881 census and he must only have just returned home after the death of his first wife, for his son's age in the 1901 census is 20. The marriage notice does give his residence as Toronto at the time oftheir marriage and his birth place as Bradford, Ontario, though the family was from Ireland.
