| Note | Depositions in Vermicie's pension petition suggest that Joab was with Vermicie for many years. The depositions date from around 1906 and '07. In hers, Vermicie states that Joab died in Sisters of Charity Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado, some ten or eleven years previously. This would place his death to around 1895 or 1896. The depositions suggest that Joab suffered from some sort of mental illness as well as epilepsy. This tree shows his date of death as 1895, but this is approximate. |
